It's a badly written article. The data seems to be about life expectancy *at age 20*. I.e. if you make it to 20 you'll on average expect to live to 80.7

One time they sold me a ticket for a non-existent seat. I.e. the seat number wasn't one that existed in that row. Multiple stewards tried to help me "find" it (each one going through the same "this customer must be dumb... hey, wtf" journey)
