My son with autism had a teacher in an IEP meeting say that she didn’t do that, ‘that’ being writing what was happening each day on the board in the morning or on a piece of paper for him. She had 3 goals for him in that IEP. One was that he ruled a margin in his book. What f’ing use is a margin?

I live on the outskirts of Sydney with a National Park out the back. Our house insurance went up approximately 40% this year.
It was easy to read, with some clever writing and turns of phrase, bringing back to my ear what I heard in my youth. The integration of Australian history into it all, was the cherry on top. 2/2

I jump into teacher mode and say, “Do you not have ear buds?”. Some say no, and try to argue that they have a right, but all so far turn the volume down or off within a few minutes.
I’ve never understood why truth in advertising doesn’t apply to political parties. 😡
