Been a while since one-button games were a thing, but I am really enjoying Bauhaus Bonk.

A picture of a map i created with the tool canvas-of-kings. It shows the city of Eilhart from the warhammer tabletop rpg game 4th edition. the city is at the river Eile, which becomes the river Schilder further north. The city is well populated with a high density of houses inside the thick city walls and a spawling harbour district. Another smaller river leads into the river Eile and within the smaller river is a small Island located. i could go into endless amounts of detail regarding this map and my homebrew lore for it, so if you'd like a detailed description just ask me. -Simon
Thanks to @mightofmerchants.bsky.social our warhammer tabletop group now has a detailed map of Eilhart. Building it was awesome. I tried my best to keep close to the lore but added a lot of homebrew to it as well. If you are interested for your own games just message me

A faceswap with our faces replacing the faces of the two figures in the painting American Gothic by Grant Wood. As in the original painting, our facial expression is very serious, almost bleak.
Here we stand at our happiest, when mother gave me these words as dowry: 'Nothing will come of nothing.' O fool I was! I spent my one 'nothing' at once, yet by providence, the other remaineth. Shall I hoard it or cast it forth into our careers for fortuneβs smile? Sweet Baphomet grant us counsel.

I think I love it. Especially the way the textured surfaces catch the lighting makes it look so pretty π€€

LLM's are just extrapolating the logical concept you are working on so i'd never treat it's suggestions as ingeniuity because it just isn't. ai itself can't innovate because it isn't able to have an artistic vision
- Simon
otherwise it can be helpful for creative writing. not to fill the gaps in creativity but to give you the missing information about reality to spark your own ideas. if i have no idea of how a primitive canal system was used, it is hard to come up with how to integrate it into my world building
i think if you use ai as a tool for analysis it is very valuable. with an older model of chat gpt i created a sentence with variables in it to make the ai summarize the core game loop of games that i have not played. this helped me to understand which mechanics were essential.
Definitely Quirsan. Looks like Simon spotting Weingummi on your table during Pen and Paper π€«

Wheee! So happy to see this project, which I was involved in during its early stages, popping up on Bluesky and being so well received. Very proud of my Spoonfulish friends and former colleagues for what theyβve accomplished! β€οΈ (Now shoo, put it on your Steam wishlist!)

A 3D render of a small, cozy sitting corner in a warm light. The shape of the room resembles a small cathedral, with the entire back wall consisting of a stained glass window in cool, blueish tones. The window shows a sleeping, humanlike giant surrounded by flowing natural elements like trees, flowers, water and a sun. Half of the tapered top section of the window is covered by a red draped curtain. The window casts colored light into the room and onto the floor. From the ceiling hangs a metal lamp with cut-out shapes that project warm ornamental patterns onto the surrounding walls. The floor below is covered with an assortment of colorful sitting pillows in various patterns, shapes, and sizes. Some of these pillows are inspired by South American and Oriental cultures, with a color palette leaning towards warm tones like reds, earthy oranges, and beige. In the middle of the pillows, which are arranged against the three walls of the corner, there are two tea tables with hammered golden tops. On the lower tea table sits a plate with nabat, or Persian rock candy, a shiny bowl filled with rosebuds, another bowl with loose black tea, and some cookies. Placed on the taller tea table in the back is a samovar, traditionally used for brewing tea in Eastern European cultures. Its shiny, metallic body is adorned with delicate ornaments. The floor of the entire room is made of warm brown wooden planks, with large portions covered by three rugs: a round green one with a short pile, a woven warm-white one with a zigzag pattern, and a dark, fluffy, blueish one with long hair. The walls appear to be plastered with clay and are decorated with framed children's drawings. In the left corner, a plant in a terracotta pot adds life to the space. Its thin, flowing stems and rounded, big leaves give it the appearance of a water plant. The whole room glows with the warm light of the afternoon sun.
Two years ago, I had the pleasure of working with Spoonful Games on a sadly discontinued project. I created this cozy tea corner, a place where adventurers would gather to share stories and find guidance on their journeys.

digital concept of a cozy fantasy cottage, the walls are opened to show the inside of the building. the interior is quite open with some furniture, a hearth and a paravent in front of the bed to give the dwellers some privacy. the entrance of the house has developed from a wagon and ther is an additional, little, round building for storage nearby. the colors are bright and there is a stork sitting in a nest on the roof.
the same concept like the one before but with different colors and the shading removed.
another concept from that discontinued project. i really enjoyed working on this at the time because if you open up a building like this it immediately fells like some kind of toy or doll house :D

conceptart of an archaeic wagon. it is made from wooden logs, wicker and has a thatched roof. the windows are made from polished amber and water vessels crafted from bottle gourds are hanging from some of the blue painted wooden beams. the wagon is old and weathered but looks cozy.
An old concept i did for a discontinued game project. These wagons belonged to a nomadic culture from the bronze age in a fantasy setting.

a digital painting of a whimsical but slightly dark forest clearing. next to a small river sands a large tree that seems to be used as a house. tha huse has a ittle roof made of a giant leaf above its entrance and a small path leads away from it. lanterns give off a warm light, while the sky that is shining through the leafs of the forest looks turquise and slightly foreboding. thank you for checking out my picture :)

ooohh haha really neat work :D
A photograph of a small, simple picture on canvas in a wooden frame. Thick, handpainted outlines of black acrylic paint on a white background. It depicts two round, happy, marshmellow-like creatures standing close to each other. One of the marshmellows is extending its very short and stubby arms to hug the other marshmellow, who is raising its stubby arms up to its mouth and chuckling joyfully. one red heart is floating above their heads.
creating detailed artworks can be very enjoyable, but sometimes stuff has more impact if kept simple.
thank you for working so hard! :D
uuuh, very nice and unique style!
oh my thats us :O thank you, you are the best <3
