I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

The officer who shot Alex worked for DHS for 8 years. The officer who shot Renee worked for DHS for over 10 years. Both are considered “highly trained.”
The problem isn’t "training." DHS was built to violate our rights and has been empowered to act with impunity. We must MELT ICE and dismantle DHS.
Agents who have violated civil rights, used excessive force, and killed people need to be turned over to local law enforcement. Yes, local law enforcement, because the Department of Justice, the FBI, and the DHS have all shown an eagerness to cover up crimes, obstruct justice, and lie about it.
The American people are not safe from our own government. It hurts my heart to write that, but it is true. The DHS must be drastically reformed. Leadership should be removed. The violent occupations must end.
I am a middle aged, central Illinois farmer, not some wild-eyed revolutionary. If I try to render aid to a woman who has been knocked to the ground and pepper sprayed by a DHS agent, will I too be dragged into the street, beaten, and executed like Mr. Pretti?
Hours of accumulated video evidence contradict the proclamations of our own federal government. When good hearted and justifiably outraged citizens show up to record and protest, we can even witness the truth in person while choking on tear gas.
There are terrorists on the streets of America. Despite the ridiculous lies of the President and many others, the terrorists are not people like Renee Good or Alex Pretti. The terror comes from DHS agents.
The American people can see the truth with our own eyes.

The Washington Post published a clear video of federal agents removing Alex Pretti's handgun moments before he was fatally shot. There's nothing in the video to suggest Pretti even reached for his weapon.

Guess what? This has never been about safety or immigration. It’s a pretext for Trump to take over elections in swing states.

What's happening in Minnesota is one reason the Reconstruction Amendments banned insurrectionists from holding office. Unfortunately, the originalists on the Supreme Court interpreted the plain language of the amendment to mean its opposite.
Every lie told by this regime, no matter how brazen, shocking, or dehumanizing, makes perfect sense when I think about their claim that immigrants were eating pets in Ohio. It's not about evidence or credibility, it's about pushing narratives to facilitate ethnic cleansing.
There is nothing in any of the videos that have been coming out that supports her version of events. I don’t think it is hyperbole to describe what happened as murder. Far, far from DHS descriptions.

This is the most damning video yet.
It shows Border Patrol agents clearly taking Alex's firearm, running it away, and THEN executed him in cold blood by emptying a clip into his face.
Murder.
A DHS statement claimed “an individual approached US Border Patrol officers” with “a handgun” in the Alex Pretti shooting incident. A Bellingcat analysis of the footage appears to show that a gun was taken away from where Pretti was situated by an agent just before the first shot was fired.
Alex Pretti "used to tell people off when they made sexist comments to female physicians. He bought me coffee when I had a really bad day as an intern...I laughed alongside him daily. He made a point to teach medical residents without judgement, but with a smile on his face and a joke."
