Ezra Cain Investigations t-shirt
The @thatjacobphillips.bsky.social signing at @okcomics.bsky.social yesterday was fantastic! It was cool to get some books signed and chat with Jacob. I love the t-shirt!
It was really great. I thoroughly enjoyed it!
Art starts off great but goes v downhill about half way through
What about Kirby drawn astronaut Vs John Buscema drawn cavemen?
Human astronauts?
Namor, Cap & Bucky, the Human Torch, the original Vision, and Miss America vs. the Red Skull and his goose-stepping minions.
Ray Lago’s All-Winners Squad
Punch Nazis. Every chance you get.
Nic Klein on Hulk is one of the few exceptions. People like him, Sanford Greene, Russell Dauterman, Daniel Warren Johnson should be the kind of people to convince that a big commercial superhero project will boost their potential creator owned stuff. One for them, one for me.
Marvel need to start paying the best artists to work with them on things they want to be hits, especially guys who usually only do covers but used to do interiors.
Generation Terrorists by Manic Street Preachers.
Drop an album that was important to you when you were nineteen.
A great comics delivery this weekend!
Looking forward to going to this at the end of the month.

1st visit to @secretidentityuk.bsky.social in Chester yesterday. What a great shop!
This was fun! I went with high energy and colours I don’t typically use, and I love how it turned out. 😎

Thor Annual 2000 backup story pages…
Captain Victory splash page by Jack Kirby
Captain Victory by Jack "The King" Kirby. Just ridiculous amounts of imagination.
Sci-fi/Fantasy with Arthurian legend made know I'd love it before I read it and the art is, as you'd expect, amazing.
Camelot 3000 is a great series.
Always fascinated by Joe Rubenstein's inks making Frank Miller's pencils look different to how they had ever looked before or since. I miss that aspect of comics where an inker or finisher could make an artist look a unique way.
Wonder Woman defends herself from a Nazi as portrayed by Lynda Carter.
Some people were confused by my ICE post. This should clear it up.
Love that Ladronn cover!
Roy Of The Rovers was a huge thing for me at 13. A weekly football anthology comic. I'd been convinced to leave superheroes behind. That only lasted a few years.
I used to do the opposite route and go to the comics, 2nd hand books and record stalls/shops in the Corn Exchange afterwards.
Which branch did you go to? The university one or the Hanging Ditch one?
