literally takes a 30 second perusal of his wikipedia page to discover the decades of domestic abuse against women charges i cannot understand why you all keep supporting and promoting this man

seriously? he’s been arrested for domestic violence against women in 1996, 2012, and 2021. and those are just the times he was caught. he is a serial abuser who is using women’s sports to rehab his image and you’re all just uncritically letting him. incredibly disappointing

Publicly supporting women is nice, but what really matters is what men do behind closed doors. What matters is how they hold each other accountable.

The men’s hockey team shouldn’t get a pass because they were in the locker room—that’s where women need their support the most.
