So early theory on where #Pokemon #Pokopia takes place: we're in a trainer's PC.

Devastated to hear that all these talented people are no longer working for Eurogamer. I had the pleasure of working with at least one of them directly and meeting the vast majority of the names on this list. I sincerely hope that they bounce back & find success in the near future.
I look forward to being able to remote trade once we get 83 more hearts. π
Just a general one. The pokedex looks a bit empty.
Did any of my mutuals on #PokemonGo get a spare Hawlucha? I got very unlucky with 10km eggs...
PSA: Anyone who has the new Steam version of #FinalFantasyVII classic, hold off playing it until it's patched. Battles run at 30fps, but this speeds up the battles too, and they're a little too fast right now. (Do appreciate that the port fixes the button issue I had with the 2013 version)
That's not to say Home support won't appear at some point, just not at launch. Important to clarify that.
... so pricing it above Β£15 is a bit cheeky when you realise that it doesn't have PokΓ©mon Home support. Hopefully they include the ticket events in-game so that Shiny Mews can be obtained, elevating its value a tad, but this feels like a pipe dream at this point. [2/2]
The discourse surrounding PokΓ©mon Fire Red/Leaf Green's pricing is fascinating. On one hand, buying the legitimate GBA version will set you back at least Β£200 if you want everything in box, so Β£16.99 is a steal. However, these are probably the most pirated GBA games ever... [1/2]
A sealed Impact Marble Racing set from Jelle's Marble Runs, signed by Jelle in gold pen.
Many thanks to @jellesmarbleruns.bsky.social for the Impact Marble Racing set! Looking forward to cracking it open and holding my own marble racing tournaments soon! #JellesMarbleRuns #TeamGalactic
If what I've just read is 100% true, we actually have the Boomer equivalent of demanding a participation prize...
Based on what Farazz said in last night's #TheTraitors, I have a theory that there is an entire family in the castle this year. We know about Mum and Daughter pair Judy and Roxy, but it's entirely possible that Maz is her husband and Farazz is their 2nd child.
Same for Archaludon?
Sooo, Farigiraf soon? #pokemongo
Wish I saw this sooner. You had at least one game there I was looking to box up...
The puzzle temple in the original Dragon Warrior 7. Some braziers are lit, and one is moved off a switch.
By making it part of the demo, and presumably the first real scenario as well, you get the fluff out of the way quickly while also giving players the option to skip it when they buy the full game. So smart! (Image credit: thekingofgrabs.com/2022/01/28/d...) 2/2
Happy New Year everyone! I'd like to start 2026 by complimenting Square Enix on offering a demo for Dragon Quest VII: Reimagined. This game had a notoriously has a stupidly long intro, sometimes taking at least an hour in the original PS1 release... 1/2

Everything you need to know about final fantasy you can learn from the Simpsons
However, I have now committed to finishing the story so that I can take the next set of games at my own pace. I will eventually get around to beating X, XII, XIII, XV, and XVI, but it might take a while. Same with the subsequent posts. Will be processing my thoughts on if it holds up soon.
The title screen for Final Fantasy IX. The cursor is on Continue.
After many moons since I said I would start it, I finally finished Final Fantasy IX. It's not that I didn't have a good time with it; actually, the total opposite! There were just so many changes in my life that I couldn't find the time to spare.
Third time's the charm! Merry Xmas!
Of all the things, that VR headset is what I'm most interested in as I still have a wired HTC Vive gathering dust in my loft. The controller is a close second, but I have plenty of controllers that are more comfortable in my hands. I also have the OG Steam controller if I really want a haptic mouse.
As cool as the Steam devices announcements are, we need to put things into perspective. Steam Deck was pricey, but a companion product to a PC. If Valve price the Steam Machine competitively, then it has a chance. If they overcharge, it's a harder sell for more casual audiences.
In the end, we had our sorcerer/warlock use a cantrip do the first two and the bard/Fighter use healing word and that did the trick.
The best you can figure out is the actual solution. We cast fire, then ice, then a healing spell and it unlocked a door. On the surface, not a hard puzzle I'd say, but coming after that prime number puzzle and two fights, there's a tendency to overthink and as such, it took us ages to figure out! π€£
The capitalised letters did have something to do with it.
The dungeon had only dead ends aside from a couple of killed monsters and the party comp was a level 5 sorcerer/warlock, an oath of vengeance Paladin, a Druid, and a Bard/Fighter.
For context, the previous puzzle was written on a coffin. "The Prime Evils are rising, the world is falling to darkness, the path to salvation is revealed in the light." There were candles lit around the room, fixed into place.
I want to run an experiment. Can you solve this #DnD puzzle I faced last night?
There is a statue facing a locked door. It's holding a heater shield with the words "The dawning sun Burns away the hoary Frost, coaxing Life back into the dead land" inscribed on it. Scorch marks are on the shield.
Can we all appreciate just how hard this remix of a somewhat forgotten Castlevania game goes? It's so good! #vampiresurvivors
