I got chucked out the venue earlier for being transphobic ladies.
Tell us what happened las.
I got chucked out the venue.
Yeh but why?
I was being transphobic.
In the venue?
Yeah it was in the venue.
Scalp.
Our letter to Wes Streeting, sent today, is now live on the TransLucent website.
Apologies to our supporters who could not see the text in my earlier post.

TransLucent's letter to the Minister for Health and Social Care, sent earlier today.
Well, yes, trans people are getting drugs; yes, from entirely unregulated sources; yes, without counselling; yes, without blood tests; yes, they are self-administering; yes, without clinical oversight; yes, risking long term harm; yes, it is highly suboptimal.
What did you think would happen?
10. Conclusion, Recommendations & Permission. 10.1 The EHRCβs position has consistently aligned with GCN including on (but not limited to): legal gender recognition; conversion practices; sex and gender data collection; the definition of βsexβ in the Equality Act; and operation of gendered services. With growing GCI in the UK, media, & politics, political interference & lack of international collaboration, the EHRC has uncritically adopted these positions as fact, putting GCNs above its duty to provide guidance based on the present state of law. The EHRCβs position is contrary to international human rights standards. 10.2 We are not aware of any efforts by the EHRC to re-align their position with stakeholders as stated in these PPs: Non-governmental organizations responsible for human rights [...] trade unions, concerned social and professional organizations β¦ qualified experts; or Parliament. 10.3 The EHRC is not independent & does not promote & protect human rights of all, per international standards. It is in breach of PP A.3 & G.O.s 1.2, 1.3 & 1.4. We seek a further urgent review of the EHRCβs accreditation status given the accumulated further information since the last review (SCA in its Oct. 2025 review decided to keep monitoring the UK.) 10.4 We give permission for the information contained in this submission to be shared with any necessary parties. 5 Signed: Dr Victoria McCloud for Trans Exile Network, [redacted address] Γmilie Weidl for Lemkin Institute for Genocide Prevention & Human Security, [redacted address]
Really pleased to see this further submission to GANHRI about the EHRC, this time from @transexilenetwork.co.uk and the #LemkinInstitute.
Thank you to @tacc.org.uk for making the submission publicly available:

Furthermore these figures are underestimates. If Alice had died at her first OD her death wouldnβt have been recorded as a trans death. How many other child suicides are deaths of trans people whoβve not yet come out to hostile family or came out and were abused, with their identity denied in death?
Thank you! Thats very kind.
(2) from the recent public statements from ex-EHRC Chair Baroness Fawkner, and ex-EHRC Commissioner Reindorf, that they should never have been appointed in the first place and continue their campaign of trans exclusion.
Anti-trans group set up by 4 mums "has *dozens* of members nationwide" and gets a big write up in the Telegraph.
@transparentaction.bsky.social a pro-trans parent group set up by 4 mums has over 1350 signatories to it's pledge.

Very encouraged by the report and draft Resolution of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe for a ban on conversion practices, which aligns with #HumanRights standards. @kateosbornemp.bsky.social
Looking forward to this event, which I will be attending.
Meet the team from Unite the Union on Monday, 9th February, at 3:00 PM in Slough.

Persistence of prejudice.
I see The Times are platforming Transphobia yet again, given that those who hate trans people have not achieved the banishment they seek.
We often discuss the Equality Act, the Human Rights Act, and the Gender Recognition Act, but rarely consider the legal promise to the Crown embodied in a Statutory Declaration, or the real meaning of βliving as a femaleβ (or male, as the case may be).
In 2026, the conversation could change.
12/12
So what happens if blanket βlawsβ or βrulesβ suddenly come into force, stating that I cannot live life in my female gender?
Does this present a genuine legal conflict that could lead to a βDeclaration of Incompatibilityβ being sought in the courts?
11/12
By signing my Statutory Declaration, I entered into a formal contract with the justice system.
I promised that βI have lived as a female for two years before the date of this statutory declaration and I intend to live in that gender until deathβ
10/12
Criminal prosecution: Under the Perjury Act 1911, with a penalty of up to two yearsβ imprisonment and an unlimited fine.
Revocation: Any rights or statuses (such as a Gender Recognition Certificate) obtained through a false declaration can be cancelled or revoked.
9/12
My Statutory Declaration was signed in the presence of an authorised witness (a solicitor) who certified my signature. However, the burden of truth rests entirely on me. If I do not live as declared, I could, in theory, face:
8/12
Administratively, I must ensure that my identity is reflected in official documents such as bank accounts and passports, which I have done for many years.
7/12
I should also be permitted to participate in female-associated spaces, such as social groups, book clubs, or possibly sports teams, subject to fairness and safety requirements (not that participation is likely, given the state of my knees).
6/12
As a matter of course (subject to reasonable service providers' limitations), I should be able to use female-specific facilities, including toilets and changing rooms [Checknotes as a norm, women don't go into the gents]
5/12
Aesthetics: While it's wrong to set stereotypes, most people wear clothing associated with their gender.
Roles: Living in womanhood, just as trans men want to live in manhood.
4/12
In my everyday interactions, like ordering coffee or meeting a stranger, others should assume I am female by default. This involves:
Language: Using a culturally female name and being referred to as βsheβ or βher.β
3/12
I declared my intention to live as a female until death.
This means my gender identity is no longer a point of discussion but the backbone of my life. I am expected to maintain congruence between my internal self and my outward social life.
2/12
When I signed my Statutory Declaration as part of the GRC process to live as a woman in 2022, I was not merely completing a form - I was making a legal pledge. A Statutory Declaration is a solemn commitment, carrying the same weight as a sworn oath.
So, what is expected of me?
1/12
Thanks for your kind words, Claire. Yes, I fully appreciate that we may seem quiet, but the fact is that our lawyers often ask us not to disclose our legal actions publicly. To put it simply, we are working very hard.
You were there from the start - whoever imagined this?
