The amount of money I’ve spent on film last year is outrageous—especially on FP-100C. Jesus Christ. But honestly, it’s been well worth it.
Artists should never have to pay for residencies—open call or not. It’s exploitative. Stop normalizing this.

The exhibition will feature a striking series of photographs captured with a Polaroid Big Shot, a camera popularized by Andy Warhol in the 1970s. Using expired peel-apart film, the work reveals beauty amidst decay + distortion—mirroring the resilience and vibrancy of Baltimore's creative community.
Too often, the art is celebrated while the artist is overlooked—when, in truth, the artist is the art. Through this initiative, I aim to shift perspectives and highlight the essential role of community and collaboration in the creative process.
The First of Many Series (TFOMS) is more than an exhibition—it's a movement. This project celebrates the incredible talent within my hometown. Created to spotlight the individuals behind the art, TFOMS provides a moment to pause, reflect, and explore creative growth.
I’m currently working on a project entitled, “The First of Many Series” (TFOMS), A Movement; An appreciation and realization of self centered around 50 artists and creatives from and/or based in Baltimore, MD.
Through my lens, I reframe perspectives, inviting viewers to cultivate deeper connections with themselves, others, and the world around them.
My passion for art is inseparably tied to my purpose: uplifting others by creating meaningful work and fostering spaces that empower individuals to realize their fullest potential at their own pace.
I am a vessel. Through my project, “The First of Many Series” (TFOMS), I found my voice while helping others uncover and rediscover their own.
My work is deeply personal and intentional, honoring my life’s experiences—both the joys and challenges—while reflecting my family’s history, creative evolution, and identity as a queer woman.
My practice is driven by a passion for creating evocative imagery, I am also committed to advocating for change and expanding accessibility for artists and creatives in my hometown.
My work explores the intersection of portraiture and art history, characterized by raw authenticity and deliberate distortion.
