Are you using Windows 11 on both?
Are you using Windows 11 on both?
What's the error
Hope it works out. I saw that you mentioned it working on another device, so I hope that guide is the fix.
Are you talking about DS, DSi, or GBA games (via Virtual Console, not an emu like mGBA)?
It won't work there π
sorry there's no option for those sadly
If you mean anything else, maybe Luma needs to be updated?
@zeldabyte.bsky.social
In the Rosalina menu, there is an option to take a screenshot
If you have a modded 3DS with Luma, the default combo is L + Down + Select to enter the menu
Nintendo has been collecting your gameplay data since at least the 3DS but they used to ask first.
Experimenting with putting the controller port under the SD cover by replacing the SD card slot with a microSD slot and putting a header socket next to it.
The charge port is also micro USB and connected to the capture card.
Basically zero external modifications.
That's the one.
He's him.
If you wanna "stick it to 'em," support other games in the monster-taming genre. If at the end of the day you're talking about and playing PokΓ©mon, they're not going to change. Play other games.
If it's an old 3DS model (3DS, 3DS XL, 2DS), and not a Loopy capture card, try this:
Very petty behavior lol especially when I did explain to him how I did it, just didn't provide pictures because I forgot
It's not like he exchanged information in return, either.
I made a tutorial for it. It uses parts you can buy almost anywhere, so it doesn't look like mine.

Matching serials.
This piece of shit tried to do a false "Item Not Received" claim on me TWICE and of course, he had the consoles the whole time and is now reselling one after getting the other for free.
Best 2DS I've done so far
TMR Joy-Con joystick
White USB-C port
Capture card
Controller mod
I've done installations like this, and I can tell you it takes less than an hour to do. I don't feel comfortable charging more than $200 for just this unless it was in pristine condition. I usually add other features to justify the cost
- remappable X and Y
- controller mod
- CPU-20 mobo w/ FlashMe
Here's an example of a good installation. The seller relocated the USB-C port, and the end result is much cleaner. It's still expensive but I'm sure the buyer will be satisfied.
I have also received a console from this seller and I can confirm, the work inside is fine.
I don't have the same name on all social media, so a few of them have come to me for help not knowing I'm a "competitor."
It's become clear to me they don't know the slightest bit about electronics after all this time, and probably explains why they don't know they can do things differently.
All of them were $250 or more. You can buy a very nice condition DS, send it directly to Loopy for a capture card installation, and still come out having spent less.
These guys have been doing installations for over a year now. They should be doing better.
The solder work is so bad I have seen Japanese repair shops complain about them on my TL.
They leave solder peaks and then cover them with tape to avoid shorting against the bottom screen, causing discoloration. This still ends up damaging the bottom screen and eventually the tape will give out.
If you are buying a DS capture card and the USB-C port looks like this, avoid it all costs.
This shows not only their skill but also the level of care they took when installing it.
I've received consoles from their customers (for controller mods) and every time I open them, I'm disappointed.
Nintendo DS motherboard with the capture card flex PCB and controller mod flex PCB installed.
I install Bluetooth mods the same way every time but it's a gamble every time if it'll have static or be clean. This one and my NES 3DS XL both came out clean. Others not so much (tolerable), and I don't have enough knowledge/experience to figure out why and fix it. π
You could also use a GameCube-to-Wii adapter and be able to use a GameCube controller with the features of mine.
Honestly pretty sick. You can also use two controllers simultaneously if you wanted to for whatever reason.
Installed a Loopy capture card and dual controller mod in this N3DS XL.
Ports are imperfect but the buyer knew this beforehand. Not the worst though.
This one has both mine and Loopy's controller mods, so you get the best of both.
Plug Wii Classic = uses mine.
Plug GCN or N64 = uses Loopy's.
I think you've seen them tbh. All that's left is combining them all into one.
1. USB-C Capture card
2. Controller mod (w touch support?)
3. Integrated CPP
4. Bluetooth audio
5. Joy-Con joystick
6. A dock maybe
Mine are more functional but there are some aesthetic mods: www.etsy.com/listing/4351...
Without making an entirely new controller mod, an easy improvement is to just make your own BlueRetro adapter with the Wii-Ext output. Not hard at all either.
This makes the mapping more intuitive and gives you access to the second stick features. Still missing ZL/ZR/c-stick though.
You can get around this somewhat with rehid, but I've had a few people come to me after buying this how to even use the mod features because they don't understand what they bought. Part of this is because Kouzex doesn't clearly state the limitations.
1. Loopy's controller mod was meant for the OG 3DS models, so it can't "press" ZL, ZR, or the c-stick.
2. Select and Home on the controller won't work since the N64 controller didn't have them. You have to use the button combo.
3. Can't use the built-in second stick features (Smash, mapped, etc.)
