Congrats to Rep. @katiejonesmpls.bsky.social and family, who biked to the hospital last week and came back with baby Hans. Here's what she told me about the ride:
biggest broncos game in a decade happening now!
My feed is mostly Denver and Minneapolis folks and they may as well be on different planets rn

I was at the Capitol the day of the Lebsock expulsion vote, and when the vote finally came everyone was focused on him.
I turned my camera to her.
Winter also wrote or co-wrote just about every significant transpo bill over the last decade. Funding, speed cameras, etc. She was a giant in that world.
What a terrible thing. Rest in peace, Senator.
It was not an easy one to make! Iβve seen Neko 3-4 times over the years and had never seen Paul though, so that was a big factor.
Had tickets to Neko Case at First Ave and sold βem so I could see Sir Paul and Iβve gotta say the man delivered.

Reading up on MN transpo stuff and came across this series from editorial writer Steve Berg the Strib ran back in 2002. Lots of talk of induced demand, freeway blight, etc
I will also bring that to the team!
Duly noted.
Hiya David - That's a good thought, though in my defense I did reach out to every DSA-endorsed legislator, including Sen. McEwen, and either didn't hear back or got a no comment.

25% overall, but it varied across service types www.cpr.org/2019/09/25/t...
Combination of huge debt service payments, driver shortages, and less demand for the commuter-focused rail network RTD built.
Tbf that was across all RTD services and RTD also prioritized local bus services b/c thatβs where ridership was still hanging on
Coming from Denver, where RTD was somewhere around 70-75% of pre-pandemic service and really didnβt want to talk about it, this is remarkable.

In reading and learning more about the Minnesota State Capitol for return-to-office stories and now security concerns, I was curious how the built environment around the cap has changed over the years.
Folks, it's a lot.

Iβm sure the RTD board would love to have you at their next meeting

A St. Louis Co Commissioner says USDOT staff told him last week that federal money was still coming for the Twin Cities-Duluth train.
Then MN's four congressional Republicans asked USDOT to eliminate that $.
βIβm extremely disappointed," the commissioner said.
