I like the idea of having the terms "life" and "sentience" and having them overlap like a venn diagram. Humans are both. Bacteria are life but not sentient. AI will be sentient but not living.

Well here's something. This article admits that not enough research has been done on this topic, but it does provide some interesting data.
Basically, the data says that hormone therapy was never shown to harm QOL, and it never increased depression or anxiety. academic.oup.com/jes/article/...
