Bus network redesign to increase frequencies but for the shuttle network by changing routing and stop placements
So tempted to do a budget neutral redesign of Anthrocon's shuttle service so that people are not waiting 45 min just for a shuttle to the Sheraton

TURBOPROP CENTURY NOW
>:3
"How did flying get so bad? Turboprops used to fly routes across the country. However, because of the evil jet engine industry, there are nearly no turboprop routes left in the US."
I've tried looking up the literature and while there are some studies, unfortunately most are observational and do not control for existing growth trends or simply are not comparing bus vs rail on equal footing.
And even that is questionable- it's possible the causal arrow points the other way where areas of fast growth result in new streetcar lines vs buses/BRT for slower growth areas due to competitive funding guidelines and predicted needs for capacity.

Perfectly encapsulates my view of transit in St. Louis at this point
Omg incredible LOL
LMAOOO
I f*cking love reading Google reviews
I wonder how much ridership could be generated if they switched to bus but put the additional frequency on another line that previously had much worse headways/service span (ex. Every 30 minutes now goes to every 15) but high ridership potential.
Phoenix is very close at $128. The typical cost for most agencies seems to be around $170-180
