I started writing a "Captains Log" of things I do for my various vampyre community orgs but writing as if I'm a Pirate Captain 😅 Instead of the VC, its the v-sea.

Cause I am a dork and I crack myself up. 🤣🥰

What better way to distract myself from the current political climate than to completely dismantle and rebuild a Legacy that I'm oath bound to carry forward? 😅

Cause you know, local close to home stress to soothe the nerves from the big dumb happening in the govment. 🤦‍♀️

Honestly tho. I feel like I do *so much* and I don't talk about it enough to people outside my inner circles.

People forget to look at the sea of good amongst the patches of bad. There are so many incredible artists, performers, makers, teachers, occultists, and more that have graced the world that were part or and projectors of vampire culture & the vampyre current & I am thankful for their contributions.

The Vampyre Community is no different. In fact, its history shows a prime example of predators and a trail of exploited behind them. That's what people tend to focus on when they look at Vampyres. They see pretend and make believe or people out to drain and exploit others... but its so much more.

But every alternative subculture, scene, and style of belief has inhabitants that use our safe spaces for unsavory reasons. The more taboo the indulgence the more damage they cause. Spaces that require trust and safety are often exploited by shady characters. The "darker" the topic the worse it is.

The term "psychic vampire" has become synonymous with unwittingly draining energy leeches. Yet the "real vampyre" community protests against this idea. Despite the real vampire's penchant for feeding, they insist on informed consent culture amongst their peers & communities similar to BDSM scenes.

*gasp* the audacity...

Another late night spent vampin around the internetosphere. Tonight's late night productive marathon was all about getting away from mailchimp and moving all of my email templates to Brevo. Still a bunch left to do but I got a good chunk done tonight 🤩 maybe I'll get to use these campaigns soon 😅🤣

Yet, the Vampyre Community tends to not think of themselves as otherkin usually. Only some vampyres identify themselves to be vampire in the otherkin sense. For many vampyres it's something else entirely like a health issue or energetic ailment.

Hey so, I see people screw this up a lot so...

Therians are people with nonhuman identities linked to Earthbound animals. Wolves/dogs & Lions/cats are popular

Otherkin are people with nonhuman identities that are mythical creatures. Fairy/fae types, Dragons, and sometimes vampires.

Of course I got immediately blocked 🤣 You don't get to move to a new platform and pretend you weren't the problem. Cause yes, the unity project was dreadful, but so were you buddy. ✌

Vampyre community hopefuls beware, Michael Vachmeil has always been majorly problematic as is his Houston Court 🙏
