Three days ago, Israel ordered the south evacuated. Two days ago, they did the same to the southern suburbs. Thatβs more than one million people. Some, the most vulnerable, are sleeping rough by the sea or on sidewalks. Today, it is raining. War harms the poor the most.
Weaving our Worlds has compiled resources and diverse left perspectives from and on Iran. Rather than reduce Iran to various intra-left ideological debates, these provide analysis based in the context, specificity and history.

The people outside of a country that they left for whatever reasons should not be listened to over the people who still live in said country. *Exile* politics is always fraught. Exiles have self-interests like everyone else.
no war no borders no cops no prisons no to all of this shit
The morality of war is now too often framed as the legality of war. A transition from some of the political history of the anti-war movement and how it intersected with racial justice, and a sign that we have politically lost the plot.

Palestinian analyst Muhammad Shehada reflects on Israelβs plan, announced yesterday at the Board of Peace, to turn Gaza into an IDF-controlled βcashless society,β where digital wallets could be suspended at will, cutting off access to food and goods. He warns it would enable blackmail and collective punishment, with no legal recourse under military rule. The Israeli operative spearheading the operation describes it as a βdigital upgradeβ for Gaza.
See new posts Conversation Muhammad Shehada @muhammadshehad2 This is extremely sinister! Israel plans to turn Gaza into a "cashless society" where the IDF fully controls who has access to e-money, who one can transact with, how much, & who starves to death This would be the ultimate tool of blackmail & pacification against journalists, critics, activists...etc. Any Palestinian would always be one click away from losing access to their Israel-controlled e-wallets. Israel can simply call anyone they don't like "khamas" & suspend their digital wallets, who's going to double check? Palestinians under Israel's military rule are not citizens, are ruled by "army regulations" not law, & have no course to appeal Israeli decisions. E.g. Israel bans people from leaving Gaza arbitrarily under unexplained unappealable "security pretexts". One of the reforms the US has been demanding of the PA is to transform the Palestinian economy into an Israel-controlled "cashless society". Israel has been refusing European demands to rebuild the existing banking sector in Gaza & instead Israel kept pitching this "digital wallet" system.
The upgraded internet access will only be established in the "new Rafah" concentration camp as a way of luring people to move in there (remember, yesterday, Kushner & his video only mentioned reconstruction of "new Rafah", not all of Gaza). The "amazon style logistics" will also be an Israeli controlled platform; meaning more blackmail & arbitrary restrictions. Liran Tancman, the speaker here, is an architect of Israel's murderous GHF & the "gated communities" plan (concentration camps).
