Growing our population is an important measure of our success. Michigan grew by more than 57,000 people last year, and Oakland County led the state with more than 15,000…including gains in every community across the county!

Outbreaks don’t care about arbitrary political decisions and now the five public health professionals that helped protect our long-term care facilities are no longer doing this critical work.

Over $3.7 million in federal funding for public health programs in Oakland County cut The programs were dedicated to disease surveillance and infeciton prevention. Five employees were told not to report for work Wednesday.
