Mackenzie Crookβs Ghost Stories for Christmas

World Book Day, is it? Hereβs one the mighty @rossignol.bsky.social and me made earlier

Indeed! Some nice examples there
Ha! Yes. I love the contrast between patchwork/precision
Lovely isnβt it
It looks too neat to not be intentional. Just nice to think of a skilled roofer enjoying themselves.
Nicely contoured roofing slates on a building in Haddington, East Lothian
Hereβs a pleasing little section of roof slates I saw yesterday
Positivity!
Perhaps there wonβt be much call for illustrators in an irradiated wasteland anyway π€·ββοΈ
This - after a public consultation that came down c95% against corporate copyright theft - is a hearty move towards this governmentβs spineless purchased representatives needing to be hoofed in the crotch by us all, in a big queue until they get the message.
Thanks Ben

The world could be such a nice place if we allowed it. It's all so goddamn unnecessary. There's no need for any of it. It's so beautiful here. It should be so cool to be alive

A photo of copies of the Angry Robot editions of Gogmagog and Ludluda by Jeff Noon and Steve Beard. Below them are two books wrapped in old map paper, a bookmark and a coaster.
"She would have to regrow herself.
Tomorrow she would begin again on the task of her life, her secret life."
The time we wrapped up copies of Gogmagog and Ludluda in old maps, tied them with string and sent them out with a bookmark and a stained Jim Brimstone's Navy Rum coaster.
Inspired by that area. Cheers
Nice to wake up to something nice though

The most beautiful book I own - probably - is The Iron Giant by Ted Hughes, a 1968 hardback. I think reading things like this as a child βdoes thingsβ to a person.
Probably the most beautiful book I own

It might have taken almost a decade and some incredibly heavy discounts, but I noticed I missed The Signal From TΓΆlva passing 100k units sold some time last year.
A milestone, of sorts, for a forgotten game (which I am as proud of as anything I have ever made.) Thanks to all who worked on it!
The Ships of Innsmouth print. Ten strange ship illustrations, drawn traditionally with ink) laid out on a page. A black and white border, similar to one you'd get in an atlas or on a map, surrounds the page.
A close up of my Innsmouth print.
The Ships of Innsmouth, my latest print, is available nowβ¦

I'll do a free little PDF guide to all the boats on this for anyone that buys a print.

Saw a performance of this in Edinburgh last month. Brilliant. Catch it if you can
