Lakers ruled out LeBron James, Maxi Kleber, and Deandre Ayton tonight against the Pacers.
Yep. Wizards are also on a 7-game losing streak. -109. Almost equally bad with much worse players.
Today, yapping about a thought in my head: Kam Jones short-term future. Contracts, youth pipeline, Quenton Jackson, the works. And, some ideas on veteran and two-way goals.

The Pacers have been outscored by 111 points in their current seven-game losing streak. It's the eighth-worst seven-game stretch in franchise history when it comes to net points. Five of the seven worse stretches came in early November of this season.
Mathurin on Pacers fit chatter: "I'm the one on the court. So I'm doing everything out there I could do in my powers to help my team win... It's always gonna be something, you know what I'm saying? Even here, it ain't going to be perfect."

Thank you!
Really enjoyed this, especially the parts about Mathurin. I hope he kills it in LA.
Behind the scenes from Pacers-Clippers as Bennedict Mathurin, Isaiah Jackson, and Kobe Brown battled their old teams and Ivica Zubac saw an emotional tribute video: www.circlecityspin.com/pacers-post-...
Trae is playing!! The historical marker ahead is wearing No. 3!!
Forgot to share last night but here's Rick Carlisle on Micah Potter and his right ankle injury: "I know he's got the ability to respond. I think it's the other ankle (from his previous injury), but we'll see how he's doing tomorrow."
You're correct, they are incentivized to do that just as they might have been with Tony Bradley this past summer if the tax was more of a concern.
A podcast about a fun game. The Pacers certainly want to see more from their available guys still. But this game was much about the reunions and the emotions. Many notes, too.

I told him what I wanted! But... that was the most telling answer of the exchange haha
Catching up with Bennedict Mathurin and Isaiah Jackson after Pacers-Clippers: youtu.be/z_lK12dL8Rc
Bennedict Mathurin on his emotions at the time of the trade:
Notable DNP-CD for Kam Jones. He has to play in 17 of the Pacers final 20 games to have his contract for next season become fully guaranteed.
Pacers get blasted by the Clippers 130-107. Siakam and Huff were the only two Pacers to shoot over 50%, but the defense remains poor post All-Star break. 7-straight losses for the Pacers. Siakam returned with 29 points, but not much else to like. Pacers 15-47.
Jarace Walker has come alive from a scoring perspective late, popping the most of this late-game group. He's up to 17 points.
Today's "try stuff" is Brown/Sheppard/Walker/Potter/huff
Well, nevermind. He's back in the game and just dotted a 3.
Big smile on Benn Mathurin's face as he checks out for possibly the last time. 20 points, 8 boards, 4 assists. Very good night.
Pacers are down 36. Doubt Siakam returns tonight. All of their two-way players are inactive. We'll see if/when Kam Jones gets in there but this one is done.
Keep an eye on what lineups the Pacers go to: www.forbes.com/sites/tonyea...
If your name is not Pascal Siakam or Jay Huff, you are not making open shots tonight. The Pacers are shooting under 30% outside of those two.
It's Clippers 102, Pacers 77 after three quarters. It was a six-point game at one point in the third, then a 37-18 run for LA broke the game open again. Clippers with two 39+ point quarters this game. Siakam with 27 of the Pacers 77 points.
Bennedict Mathurin with an assists to Isaiah Jackson. Jackson with quite the run of activity here in the third quarter... and then Mathurin follows it up with an and-1. Clippers a chance to go up 30.
Correct.
Pacers have stalled again. It's 80-62 Clippers and the Pacers take a timeout. Pacers haven't scored since Siakam checked out.
Micah Potter back in the game.
It has, indeed, been upgraded to a flagrant 1.
Jay Huff gets Kawhi in the face defending him at the basket. Huff trying to apologize from afar, then walks toward Leonard before Andrew Nembhard stops him. Refs take it to a review and that might be a flagrant.
