This is one of my favourite game joints in London. Been there several times. They need to treat their staff better, I don't want to go somewhere to have fun knowing it's at the expense of someone else's misery.

It's either ignorance (he didn't know / didn't watch the movie/ didn't understand it), or it's deliberate (he knows and doesn't care). I think it's probably the latter and this is signalling. Those guys strongly identify with fascism but they can't overtly support it.

After 25 years as a vegetarian, I find the idea of lab-grown meat a bit revolting TBH, even though I don't have any major ethical concerns with it, in principle. I guess it’s like how most meat eaters would react to the idea of eating lab-grown human meat.
I agree with the sentiment of the protesters but using live crickets for that purpose is animal cruelty. They could've used something else, I don't know, a stink bomb perhaps?
I'm halfway through the audiobook. I'm 50 and finally got my diagnosis last week. No surprises there; I've known it for over 10 years now. But your book is giving me chills - it's like you're inside my mind!

Opinions are just throwaway things. I might be right or I might be wrong. I can change my mind. Anyway, that's just my opinion.
These aren't movies, but 'Pose' is wonderful, and 'Transparent' is pretty good too, if you're willing to overlook Jeffrey Tambor's #MeToo controversies and the fact that he's a cis actor in a trans leading role.
