I had a neighbor tell me during the campaign that if Trump won, people all over the world would respect us again. If that's true, why are so many of them afraid to admit they voted for him?
This is what I don't understand about MAGA. They keep saying that I'm brainwashed by the MSM, and I keep saying, "Have you actually LISTENED to him?"
They're doing it because they know it appeals to the MAGA base. That's the disgrace, in my opinion. We have millions of Americans who haven't grown beyond the emotional intelligence level of a preteen boy.

It seems pretty clear to me. Cowardice, greed, a desire for power, and no real devotion to democracy when compared to those other things.
FYI: Dems in the senate can't defund ICE. ICE is funded by the Big Ugly Bill. Shutting down DHS on this vote wouldn't touch ICE, but it would shut down FEMA, TSA, Coast Guard, etc. Shutting down ICE requires taking back Congress in the midterms. Dismantling DHS requires the White House in 2028.
The media has to stop using 'crackdown' to describe what ICE and CBP are doing in Minneapolis.
'Crackdown' implies a response to wrongdoing. There is no wrongdoing. People are just existing.
I try to get my books on Kobo, but if I can't, I buy on Kindle. There's a lot I'm willing to do not to support evil billionaires, but depriving myself of a good book isn't one of them.

I can only guess, since I hate the man and would have voted for a comatose Biden before I would have voted for him. It's about fear and power. R voters made a devil's bargain because they're afraid of a country that is becoming too non-white. And R politicians want unfettered power. And wealth.
The Epstein files are important because they could end his presidency. We know he's in them. It's about forcing his voters and GOP politicians to face it and defend it, which they can't do without revealing that they're morally bankrupt.
It will become increasingly important for people to take video and protect and save that video so that when there is finally an accounting for what’s happening, there will be evidence.
I think, although I'm not really sure, that I struggle because there are too many options. It's like going into a department store and being paralyzed by the choices. Which subject should I choose? Which techniques should I use? Colors? Style? Ugh.
