Who had "Ghostwritten by Taylor Sheridan" on their Lanterns bingo card? Anyone?

I guess this is the new trend - unlikely badass heroines. I hope they don't burn out the concept. It would be cool if the formula stuck around for a while.
Against all odds, this looks pretty good.

My latest freelance project hit Gamefound today, and it's an amazing achievement by Fantasia Games! Stan Kordonskiy's Rurik is back with 2 expansions, top shelf goodies, and pledge tiers that are an outright *steal*. This one's well worth a look, folks. For Glory!

AB Con 2025. The team crushed it, from the looks of it. No surprise. Game on!
Fair play, internet. I forgot about Good Luck, Have Fun, Don't Die. So it' s a tie for my most anticipated Q1 flick. I do have to ask, though. What does it say that both of them feature Zazie Beetz? Hm...
A reminder for all my Cali peeps that you can sign up for DROP to get at least some of your data removed from some of the brokers out there. There's a backlog until August, but it's worth getting in the queue now, if you haven't already.
Well hey there, new movie obsession. It's great to meet you.
So weβre just straight up pirates now?
Vaguepost observation about the Stranger Things finale...
That scene where Holly and her friends push past Mike into the basement is, I think, my favorite moment in the entire series.
Morgan Stanley: 2026 is βThe Year of Risk Rebootβ as market focus shifts from macro anxieties to micro fundamentals. Policy backdrop is unusually supportive: fiscal stimulus, continued monetary easing, and deregulation form what analysts call a βpolicy triumvirateβ rarely seen outside recessions.
Plur1bus is my favorite new show this year. If you're not already watching, you're really missing out. It's amazeballs.
Yeah, fucking no.
My brief foray into video game design was not with a AAA company, but it still felt a little like this - and some of my tabletop experiences were similar as well.
There's a reason I work for myself now, and why I'm largely unemployable these days except as a freelancer.
You can rarely tell whether a movie is going to be any good from a trailer. That's why you should treat trailers as a separate art form and appreciate them on their own merits, separate of movies.
This is a very good trailer.
This is one of the most intriguing RPGs I've seen in years. Bravo, @xanderrific.bsky.social! I really hope this gets a full release, so I can pimp it far and wide.
Escape room gaming for the holiday.
You have *got* to be kidding me. The single best scene in all of Season 2 was left on the cutting room floor?!? I mean, it's understandable given the disastrous trainwreck they ran with for the season wrap, but still - what could have been...
(Robot Revolution, Scene 43 - video's cued up)
Absolutely wild. Also wildly awesome.
Working on Stargate was a career highlight for me. It's one of the most easily gamified IPs out there (zat guns aside), and I was so proud to power a tabletop RPG for it with our Spycraft ruleset. With so many of the OG creatives in the mix, I'm really hopeful about this new show. Bring it on!

Can't even keep the narrative consistent within the hour, and the base will still accept it as truth.
Rome. Must. Fall.
A good trailer gets you excited about the thing and maybe tells you just enough about it to spark that engine of wonder that'll drive you to release day.
A *great* trailer does all that and forgives three years of waiting and endless weeks of teasing.
Gods, if I never work with Illustrator again, it will be too damn soon.
Another year, another spectacular light show from Magical Light Shows.
Instafollow! And "instabuy" should this version ever somehow find its way out as some form of freebie with a donate box.

Fountain of Youth: They paid Stanley Tucci to walk 30 ft.
There are so many buttons I would push without consideration. One of them is the button that sacrifices 4 hours of every single day of my life in exchange for 12 hours of good, guaranteed sleep every day.
