And everyone is safer and happier if you go in with knowledge, an understanding of your own ethical boundaries, and a very firm consent-based attitude.
So much of what I fear and resent about the current generation of AI is the total trampling of consent.
In one of the projects I'm working on, I talked about my attitude about AI and its place in writing as "harm reduction" and I am going to be thinking about that for a bit.
Like when I teach teens about sexual activity - sexuality is fine! But there are ways that it can be harmful.

I just got off the phone with @bobabria.bsky.social and she informed me that the bean having butt cheeks was my idea. This was news to me, but also I am very proud to have been responsible for such a ground-breaking feature.
