In regards to possible behavior and not to diminish the catalog, it should at least fail. Otherwhise things may end up in a loop on unsupported devices (update being instaleld again and again). That way, someone can at least choose wether or not they want to use or decline if it's causing problems
Split on this. Isn't it possible to extend the Lenovo WMI Provider that is already queried to provide information that allows for these kinds of applicability checks to be defined with a wmi query? Question is, what is the exe checking at runtime that can not be checked in the xml?
Problem may be, that nothing gets changed so next time windows evaluates it, IsInstalled evaluates to false and IsInstallable evaluates to
true.
Windows does not cache IsInstalled based on previous runs.
@joe-lenovo.bsky.social Hi,
Is it possible that the Update 5de907bd-cb32-415c-a733-5d9bd39d3cc6 in the Lenovo Catalog has a misconfigured CommandLineInstaller-Section? It says 0,1,2 are success but the manual says 0 is success and 1 & 2 "not supported" which i'd interpret as not successfull
Or: When darves go drunk carving.
Today I placed a sphere with a Skysphere mapped to it into the scene and got an intrusice thought. Some fiddling and tweaking and I got myself some reflection capture working! The last one having some color tint applied to make it look more like metal.

Sorry for the late replay. I didn't get a notification BUT we noticed it's working again. Thank you for your quick response!
@joe-lenovo.bsky.social is anyone aware that the catalog file LenovoUpdatesCatalogv3.cab is currently not hosted correctly? This url delivers an outdated from june:
download.lenovo.com/luc/v3/Lenov...
While a lowercase version of it delivers the correct one :
download.lenovo.com/luc/v3/lenov...

Adding some textures to the mix! Shoutout to piiixl.itch.io
for his texturepacks.
Texturerendering is a bit slow, may need to optimize that later once more stuff is on the screen.

Update to the Endlessrunner: Added some basic meshes and did some basic vertex lighting.

Back to the roots. Now that my Softwarerenderer has become quite fast, I thought why not make something with it? No premade engine, all from scratch. An Autorunner seems to be a good first idea. Though I have no art yet :D

Yay, support for multiple UV sets added, which was mainly the FBX loader and my Mesh class, which didn't support multiple ones. Quickly wrote the basic shader to use the prebaked lightmap and that's the result:

Something different for today:
Got my FBX-Loader for my SoftwareRenderer working. With that out of the way, I can finally add support for multiple UV sets :D

Oh NO!
Picture of a Level Editor depicting a virtual Pinball table in early construction.
Out with the boring pure blue. Reworking the Devtable to ive it some more interesting aspects. Not just gameplay wise, but through more colors, too.

Together with "and you play that on your Nintendo, right?"
This is what I started to work on during last christmas:

The final bits and pieces of a project are the most annoying ones. And with releasing come reactions from others. WHat will those be after month of work?
First post on a new platfom:
I am working on a Pinball game and just reworked the bumpers to have an actual mesh, animations, light and sound:
