part of why I quit the census (full time job) was that trump's erraticness kept leaving me out of money for months at a time. Too unstable, and now I don't think the gov SHOULD be collecting that kinda info until the people at top are removed and are trusted to not do evil shit with it.

I tried installing the official drivers of every age, NOTHING. Keeps coming up "unrecognized usb device" no matter what I do. XP service pack 3, should be fine! but nope. mobo might just be old and not working right. it was used after all. might find some newer lga775 that's less infuriating.

we need to do something about these os level laws too. it's threatening to upend open source as we know it. we are allowed to use the computer or we are not. it's already been ruled that code is free speech, and we should attack these laws from that angle. pry my compiler from my cold dead hands.

my gba sp batt is SOMEHOW still hanging on. ds lite as well. I checked earlier this year and they look fine. Mine is a bit scuffed and I pulled all the stickers off of it (long story) but still works great. I wish more people showed this version of the gba love.

windows xp, but less evil and more stable? linux mint without the the command line (curse you pulse audio)? gotta be a good middle ground of "Do stuff!" (GOOD gui apps) and "Tinker with the system!" (without borking your build)
