Coming off of their 2nd Premiership in a row, the Brisbane Lions kick off (or toss off) their 2026 campaign with an AFL Lineal Championship matchup against the Western Bulldogs at the Gabba.

The St. Louis Blues' West Coast roadtrip continues tonight in San Jose, where they take on the Sharks for the NHL Lineal Championship, in the first of 3 matchups between the two teams throughout the month of March.

It's by far the least played format in International Cricket (just look at the (tentative) dates of future matches), but India and Australia will meet at the WACA in Perth to finish their multi-format series with the Women's Test Cricket Lineal Championship on the line.

While the NRL Season started in Las Vegas this past weekend, the first game on Aussie soil will be for the NRL Lineal Championship, with the Parramatta Eels taking on last season's runners-up, the Melbourne Storm.

After defeating one of the best teams in the NHL in Carolina, the Seattle Kraken take on one of the...not so great teams...in the St. Louis Blues for the NHL Lineal Championship.

After taking down the Raptors up in Toronto last night, the New York Knicks make a quick stop back home to take on the Oklahoma City Thunder for the NBA Lineal Championship before embarking on a West Coast roadtrip.

The Seattle Kraken hold the NHL Lineal Championship for the first time since 10/28/2025.

After winning their first 2 games back from the Olympic Break at home, the Carolina Hurricanes head out West for 4 games over the next 6 nights.

Their first stop will be the lone American stop, taking on the Seattle Kraken for the NHL Lineal Championship.

After a dramatic Overtime victory over Saskatchewan last night, the Buffalo Bandits head north of the border for the backend of a back-to-back, taking on the Toronto Rock for the NLL Lineal Championship.

After taking down the red-hot Lightning on Thursday, the Carolina Hurricanes will look to extend their own win streak to 5 games as they host the Detroit Red Wings for the NHL Lineal Championship.

February 28th, 2026 Update:

The Buffalo Bandits hold the NLL Lineal Championship for the first time since 12/13/2025.

Either I forgot to set up this post on Buffer earlier today, or it didn't properly save and upload...

It's a rematch of last year's NLL Finals, but the only team that looks to be making a run for the playoffs again this year are the Saskatchewan Rush, who are looking to win their 10th game in a row, defend the NLL Lineal Championship and get revenge against the Buffalo Bandits.

The Tampa Bay Lightning will look for their 7th straight win, as well as another defense of the NHL Lineal Championship, when they head up to Raleigh on the backend of a back-to-back to face the Carolina Hurricanes, who are playing their 1st game after the Olympic Break.
