They are indeed not reasoning like us. They are just predicting the next token, and for some reason it's so good, especially in agentic ways that it's uncanny. Clear example is that question about walking or driving to wash one's car. Simple models fail, those who think deeper work.

These guys are behaving like they will never face consequences, almost like they know that somehow, the 'other side' will never be in power again.
