Beggars Banquet BEGGARS BANQUET is the catalogue and archive department for past and present Beggars Group labels and artists. Beggars labels include 4AD, Matador, Rough Trade, XL Recordings and Young. We also handle our legacy labels including Beggars Banquet, too pure, Wiiija, Situation Two and more. Beggars began in 1977 and we have over 40 years of catalog to work with in collaboration with the artists.

This 2XLP/2XCD expanded edition of Some Friendly celebrates their landmark 1990 debut album.

Found in the archive today, press clippings from the 1980s band Del-Byzanteens. The group was made up of downtown New York arty figures, including Jim Jarmusch, Phil Kline, Josh Braun, Dan Braun, Philippe Hagen, and James Nares, with collaborations from Lucy Sante and John Lurie.

On 20 March 1990, The Charlatans recorded a BBC session that captured the band at the crest of their early momentum. Featuring “Then,” “Always In Mind,” “You Can Talk To Me,” and “Polar Bear,”.

Another great northern English find in the archive today, a 7" picture disc of The Fall’s “Hit The North” single, originally released in 1987. This edition features Parts 1 & 2 of the track and comes housed in a dartboard-design PVC outer sleeve.

Rediscovered in the archive today, this poster-bag artwork for the 1984 7" single of The Cult’s “Go West (Crazy Spinning Circles)”. The B-side of the release features “Sea and Sky,” a track that originated during the band’s Death Cult era, when it was known as “The Waste of Love.”
