Falls of Niagara as Seen From the Table Rock by William H. Coyle - Niagara Falls Poetry Project Coyle has written a long poem describing Niagara Falls and area in 1836 including the activities of locals and tourists

I've spent the last few days adding a long poem from 1835 by William H. Coyle "Falls of #Niagara, as Seen From the Table Rock,"
In a note Coyle laments the lack of #poetry about the falls. There are 27 (of over 700) written by 1835 on the site.

Earlier this year I indexed "Behind the Bricks", a history of the #MohawkInstitute. On Tuesday it was launched at the Woodland Cultural Centre, where the Institute building was reopened as a museum. A powerful book, and a powerful museum.

Romance at #NiagaraFalls is alive and well, as Nolan Natasha describes in their #poem "Niagara Falls." Nolan also performs their poem on a video that is linked to on the page - it's well worth a view.
