Nobody denies CK’s right to go to college campuses and yell whatever he wanted. But that is not the RIGHT way to practice politics, Ezra. Repeating your unsupported opinions over and over without responding to rebuttal is not the right way to practice politics.
Weird, form versus content divide: for Ezra Klein’s version of the left only process matters: the debate FORM is good in itself (CK didn't debate, but pretended to); for the right only content matters (they cancel each other for insufficient fealty to Trump no matter the context).

Maybe this is cosmic justice, karma, whatever. The US has done so many horrible things over the centuries, slavery and continued oppression, absence of decent health care, oligarchy, that we are finally being forced to look at the plain truth of who we have always been: Trump is unmasking us.
Yes to all of this. But the thing is it's easier to get public sympathy for someone who is manifestly innocent than for the general principle that due process is non-negotiable. So I'm glad that he is so innocent.
