I am completely new to pc gaming and bought this gaming pc specifically to play this series.

Ok, attempting to play Final Fantasy XIiI-2 now and… I can’t get it to run without crashing right away after the initial loading screen. 😩
I have the 4GB patch, the XIII fix mod, and cloud saves disabled… Not sure what else to try. #FinalFantasy #PCGaming

It goes from being the least grindy FF game to the most grindy so fast! I don’t mind grindy games if I’m prepared for them but this came on so suddenly and I was not ready… It put me in a bad mood. (I finally finished the game yesterday though.)

My hot take is that it would be better if it were *more* linear.
After the first 10 chapters of really straightforward, well-balanced linear gameplay, the sudden shift to extreme grindiness and the stream of directionless missions once you arrive in Gran Pulse is jarring.

One of my pastels from nearly 30 years ago showing a path across Jesus Green in Cambridge. I think this was late in the year with a few leaves hanging on to the trees with some autumn colour remaining. It was bought by a late friend and is now with his family.
