This evening I’ve been mostly helping rescue a swan that was being hassled and cornered by other territorial swans.
She can’t fly at the moment as she’s in her annual moult. Her partner seems to have abandoned her too.
She’s now safe, moved to the local flock. I’ll check on her in the morning.
Ah, you too this week.
Ended up having to go to the depot and collect.

Failed next day delivery yesterday - reason “No Answer”.
But someone was there all day.
There’s a motion activated camera on the front door and driveway. No delivery attempt was made.
I’d forgotten about Noseybonks.
They really were quite terrifying.
Don’t know that I’ll sleep now.
If you don’t know what a Noseybonk was/is, don’t go searching to find out. Continue in ignorance. It’s better that way.

I just went outside - a layer of snow and freezing fog in the air.

All I can hear is a wall of sound. All the conversations near me are all equally as loud as each other, and I can’t pick any one conversation out easily. Even the people I’m right next to.
It’s tiring.
