I avoid AI when learning and I think everyone should. My stance is that AI should only be used for mechanical automation by experienced developers who review and understand everything the AI writes
i agree to an extent. i think AI should only be used as mechanical automation for code. offloading the actual thinking to it will make you a worse developer.
i do agree that the contributing guidelines should be revised to, at the very least, require disclosure of AI use in contributions though
