Book fair is in the media center this week, so I've gone to classrooms for lessons. Our K classes listened to LA PRINCESA AND THE PEA & compared it to the version their teacher read, then used paper strips to make their own mattress stacked beds, complete with a pea underneath. #TLSky #SchoolLibrary

Spending my Friday night watching the Wisconsin Badgers women's hockey team kick off their league playoffs. The Badger lineup includes 5 women from the US team that won Olympic gold, so you know it's going to be a good game!

Going to work a little late this morning after another doctor appointment, so I decided to spend a little time getting ready for classes next week. We’re reading some fish themed books for March Book Madness, so some classes are making paper plate fish. #SchoolLibrary

And now that the gold medal game is over, it's time for more hockey! Wisconsin Badgers women's team plays at noon. If you watched the women's Olympic hockey games, you saw lots of players with roots in the Badger hockey program. The players are amazing and the games are so fun to watch!

Looking forward to adding this book to our school's media center collection! I can see pairing it with digital citizenship lessons for our K-2 students that focus on having a healthy balance of online/offline activities. #SchoolLibrary #TLSky #EduSky #kidlit

This is a dog who is not enjoying this morning’s gold medal Olympic hockey game. Definitely not a fan of cheering and clapping. He’d prefer that we’d slept in instead of getting up to be ready for the game.

Wrapped up the week with 1st grade using Bee-Bots to “travel” from planet to planet. They put planet cards on a mat, drew a card to see which planet they needed to get to, then programmed the robot. Great computational thinking practice—and fun, too! #SchoolLibrary #TLSky #EduSky

Loved book 1, too! I think our readers will really like this one. They're really into books that include cooking and baking right now, so this is a perfect fit.

Would love to be included in the future! I don't have a current #DonorsChoose project, but I have colleagues at my school who have live projects. One is expiring in 9 days and I'd love to see it funded for her PreK students.
