I wrote a little something about #ArtificialIntelligence and what the future of work might look like for us.

It's AI. For fucks sake.

I wrote a little something that is part creative writing and part future forecasting:

@bydannyboyd.bsky.social Hi Danny - I've been a big fan of the CinemaStix videos for a while now.
Can you tell us more about your own background in film?
This man is an absolute ghoul.
Hey #Vancouver - join below!
Let's talk about the elephant in the room regarding the current fascist US regime and Alberta seperatism: Christian Nationalism.

It's a place that I own and control, and is a more thoughtful collection of my own opinions and interests. At least, it's more thoughtful than a re-shared link, drive-by like, or singular photo.

What originally started almost 20 years ago as a place for Espen Skoland to share his research about the use of "Web 2.0" in American politics has now morphed into a place where I share photos, thoughts on marketing and strategy, and book recommendations.
In the face of all this, I've found immense joy in returning to blogging.
Threads was a viable and interesting alternative, but feels less so now that the policy changes and new Meta board member remind us what the company was all about in the first place. I'm sure that #BlueSky will have its #MilkshakeDuck moment (what a sentence and a what a world we live in).
LinkedIn in is becoming a ChatGPT-generated wasteland (just look at the repetitive, jibber-laden comments on almost anything, or the emoji-heavy line-by-line telling of retelling of something).
Whatever Twitter has become is now worse than useless.

Good point RE food!
Why so complicated/dangerous/etc ?
Wait - there's a new Metal Gear Solid???
Does anyone use SONOS? I feel like they've made a bunch of updates lately, and it just isn't as good as it used to be. #sonos
Here's my pitch:
A remake of Glengarry Glen Ross, except with the cast of The Office.
As part of my renewed interest in blogging I put together a post of some of my favourite pictures that I've taken over the last few years:
Sunrise x Sunset

Glad to see you've found a home here and that you aren't discontinuing entirely! The Conan the Salaryman account was one of my favourite things of dying Twitter.
I've been thinking a lot about #ArtificialIntelligence lately

It's amazing how much the BlueSky user interface reminds me EXACTLY of early Twitter....I assume that's intentional π
Is it possible to comment that these are incredible photographs while also acknowledging that they are part of a tragedy?
