You hold onto life or let it slip away in the tides but it's worth seeing where the churn goes.

Central planning easier than tabletop scheduling
This is like listening to Fantastic Planet and I both hate and love it but not right now thank you.
Got home from the club and listening to whatever the fuck this is. Thanks algorithm I think I'll just turn in.
The right hour, the right mood, the right time!
@aoc.bsky.social and @warren.senate.gov ICE is detaining people in alarming ways.
Screenshot of ICE website, shows Fabian Schmidt, country of birth: Germany, status: in ICE custody, state: RI, current detention facility: Wyatt Detention Center
Another person taken by ICE. Fabian Schmidt flew into Logan Airport in Boston and was sent to the Wyatt Detention Center in RI. According to their FB post, the family has been in NH since 2007. (๐s in thread)

Keeping up on social media is not a strong suit of mine. Anyways I'll have what he's having.
Yeah this hit me pretty hard in the existentiafeels.

A hundred plus pages in for a TTRPG project and near to the final hump. It's been nice to have a project to work on in my spare time, but it'll be even nicer to have it in a state where review, edits, and layout can happen and then maybe one day publishing!
Man I just heard about this wild manifesto published by some radicals where they stated they didn't like kings very much. SMDH what's this place coming to.

One of the designers at my studio has a sort of version of this he ran called Passed Lives. People play past and future selves of the same characters.
It's been a while but in 2025 I'll be getting back to a party.
ยกNo pasaran!
Mine is watching the old Mario Bros TV show with Lou Albano. This is my attempt like the aliens from Arrival to establish a shared language.
Rough day. We lost the wonderful Kai Simon Fredricksen in the larp world, a photographer of immense skill and an all-around amazing human being. You shall be missed comrade.
Based on how 'larping' has been used to describe people acting in a way I think we're finally in the mainstream baby!
Totally understand. It's a real challenge and reaching people where they are is a hurdle. We've dumped some money on FB ads and I don't know if it's netted anything but it's still hard to say 'ok time to turn away from this' because people will still use that platform.
It's been a robust discussion on the BFF Larp community on FB. Nobody really has an answer but I think the energy and desire is there. I've seen, at least personally, a lot of energy to find a solution.
So with the #larp exodus from Facebook where else can we congregate that might generate community? While BlueSky isn't ideal it's a start.
Exposing new people to the art form is one of Reverie's core goals and maybe this is a place to do some of that, but we need better platforms for sure.
Is it working? Are we leaving Zuckerville?
Immersive Qud experiences. Experience the water ritual with a high magma crab for real!
Finding time to work on projects can be challenging but thankfully the projects are interesting! I am most excited about a system we're developing at Reverie for immersive character design. Awesome things to come.
I'm pretty much only on it to use messenger and to engage with the larp community and it only does the messenger part partially well.
Living the dream! Time to leave the cess pit.
Absolutely. We as a studio provide any template documents we can as a core goal is spreading the art form. We're happy to share whatever we know or discovered. We're also working on a character portal to help larp organizers with some of the more onerous writing tasks.
First post! Let's make it #larp related.
I am not particularly prolific on social media, but I think it has value for spreading the art form. How do we best build new communities here and get away from FB, IG, or Twitter and have folks find what they're looking for?
