I tested the first pattern and already started a second. Even stuffed, the first was too... thin? Slim? And the shaping I wanted in the body wasn't there. I think I need a second body for a male shape. I'll try tomorrow. It's midnight.
I did adult math today! I priced materials, and time, and didn't underpay myself.
Historical costuming is pricy, but it's worth it. It's not worth skimping if you want quality. The only way to lessen cost is to make it yourself.
...as an 1/8th of an inch. I may go that small in the future, but these are about a centimeter tall.
