It’s an insane experiment that we’re performing here.
I remember memorizing 370 ppm, not realizing at the time how fast that value would be obsolete.
Now, we’re at 430 ppm.

France, Germany and UK urge Iran to β€˜negotiate solution’ after attack Rare joint statement from leaders of European nations makes clear they did not participate in US-Israeli strikes

This is not a great statement by France, the UK, and Germany. There is no mention at all that the US and Israel started this war.

And I for sure don’t believe that Trump cares about the Iranian people in any way.

Why India’s plan to make AI companies pay for training data should go global A license fee for the use of copyrighted data can compensate creators and help AI companies avoid lengthy legal fights.

India wants AI companies to pay royalties for training data. It's about compensating creators and avoiding decade-long lawsuits, and could set a global precedent

Wow ❄️, it’s been snowing big time for the last few hours.
Took a little longer than usual to climb the hill to go grocery shopping (because snow plowing is only available for cars and not pedestrians πŸ™‚).
Been longing for spring but it IS kind of beautiful right now.

AGU Denounces Trump Administration’s Repeal of the EPA Endangerment Finding In 1856, American scientist Eunice Foote made history by publishing the first academic paper demonstrating that carbon dioxide traps heat from the Sun, a discovery that laid the foundation for climate...

Clean air is what you get from clean cars, but they want dirty cars forever!

Ridiculous, the whole point of the Endangerment Finding was to protect human health and the environment, so why eliminate it if that was still their mission?

It’s possible to reduce emissions while growing the economy. Many countries have decoupled economic growth from COβ‚‚ emissions, even if we take offshored production into account.

You can see this in the chart for a selection of large economies.

Then they throw a house-warming party where the house gets completely destroyed and Bonnie Bunny goes β€˜good thing we kept the instructions, we’ll just go back to page 1 and rebuild the house all over’.

Been building a Lego house with my nieces and nephews with bricks from my own childhood. My mom had even kept the instruction booklet and most of the pieces were still there. Couldn’t believe it at first.

Is the whole universe just a simulation? Here’s why some people believe we’re living in a computer simulation of reality – like a giant video game in which we’re all the characters.

This has always been my favorite conspiracy theory, and it might even be true πŸ˜„.
Would at least explain the flaws of reality, like, how are people like Trump actually VOTED into power.

Autocracy can only exist with many people supporting it, silently or actively.

Speak up. Everyone, everywhere. Protest. Strike. Stay peaceful.

There were at least 200 people lining the intersection of 5th and B tonight in Davis, CA, in honor of Alex Pretti. It was moving to see so many people come out on short notice with our mismatched candles, bike lights, flashlights, and string lights.
