This duet cover of Radiohead's "Creep", between a son and his Shastriya Sangeet classically trained mother, is the mash-up I didn't know how much I needed in my life. Totally spontaneous sobbing may have taken place.

telling the secret police they have immunity to harm & kill citizens really lays bare the hollowness of decades of right-wing GOP screeching about encroaching Big Government - it was never a problem they had with government per se, just that it wasn't being used to harm the people they wanted to
In the summer I wrote to @Keir Starmer to ask that Reform have some representation in the House of Lords, He didn't give me the courtesy of a response, despite Reform winning the elections in May. This makes me more determined to smash the political establishment than ever
Nothing says "smash the political establishment" quite like begging the Prime Minister to put your mates in the unelected House of Lords.
A grey blue washed image of a bearded young ish white guy looking into the mirror all serious with his palm pressed against it. A serif font title reads: DID I JUST ARGUE WITH A JOKE? A semi opaque navy snoot near the bottom bears the bluesky logo and the text PART OF A BLUESKY EDUCATIONAL SERIES
Wow!
So it's now 5 who recognise the experience and commitment of Jess Phillips, verses 5 who wants her out - a group which includes at least 1 which is working with Reform.
This is now nothing more than Reform trying to destroy the inquiry and undermine the Labour government.

Dadβs books are full of empathy, common sense, and a healthy suspicion of the powerful. But at its heart his work is also about how systems keep people poor while pretending itβs their own fault. So I hope Kemiβs taking notes as well as reading the jokes.
I bloody loved zool. But I preferred superfrog.
Good
Thats a very 'dad' coat.
Nice to see you, mat.

Not to blindly repeat and to challenge blood libels going forward?
CM: Help our viewers then understand who you are as a Conservative. You referred to previous Conservative leaders. Your shadow chancellor yesterday, Mel Stride, eviscerated Liz Truss and his argument being that she trashed your party's reputation for economic competence. Why not-... throw her out the party? We saw Keir Starmer throw Jeremy Corbyn out the party as a badge of saying the party has changed. Why not do the same for Liz Truss? KB: Is she still in the party? CM: Well, you tell me. KB: Well you tell me. You're the one asking the question. CM: You're the party leader.
fair to say Kemi Badenochβs last interview on BBC wasnβt a storming success
Yeah, we all want more money. Most of us don't get it. Most of us don't pay tax to pay for extra salary for people.
Hemel hempstead?
Almost done 500km in my running shoes. When do you retire yours? distance or vibes?
Even Putin would be embarrassed by this.
The right-wing reaction to Labour securing a difficult Indian trade deal is a useful reminder. Even if this government was performing better, they'd still brand it a failure. Absolutely no reasoning with the modern British right at all.
No thanks, I'm sane
