Tonight in #DragonTown #dnd - the party used enchanted pee-covered stones to lure corrupted giant beetles into a corral to save the sentient apples. This was after talking about seducing the bugs! No, there aren’t mechanics for any of that. But yes, it was damn fun!

Why, oh why did I give my #dnd party 30 sticks of dynamite right before they went into Cragmaw Castle?

Because the chaos was damn fun, that’s why!

Thanks. I am pretty new at this but I’ve started putting the cool stuff I make for #dnd onto my new Patreon. Lots available for free, a little more for paid.

Recently I added a map, new monster stat blocks, and an encounter.

Thanks for the space. I have recently started a (mostly) #dnd Patreon that I am currently working on populating with resources, maps, adventures and (crappy but non-AI) art. Free tier will have tons of cool stuff. www.patreon.com/KoboldKai

The Lies of the Ajungo by Moses Ose Utomi.

The cover shows a desert scene with a large building on the background and a young man carrying a spear with some birds flying in the foreground.

The Lies of the Ajungo. A short debut novella from @mosesoseutomi.bsky.social

It is a dark, heartbreaking story, but also very good. I am really glad I took a chance on this one. Can’t wait to check out the others!

Today in my #DragonTown #dnd game: the party avoided the TPK (and all fights) by convincing the kobolds to lead them through the cave to the lost dwarven kingdom!

I finished it! The Crystal Halo is a great fantasy novel by a couple of my college friends. Fast paced and well written. Takes the common β€œchosen one” trope and flips it upside down.

It is self-published and currently only available in print and e-reader from Amazon: a.co/d/0jkQbq9O

Just wanted to throw this out there for the fantasy reading #BookSky community: a couple friends of mine self-published a book a couple weeks ago. I’m about half way through and am really enjoying it. So, if you dig fantasy and want to support some good people, check out the Crystal Halo.

Tonight in my #Phandelver #dnd campaign: the party somehow managed to acquire 30 sticks of dynamite and a barrel of moonshine on their way to Cragmaw Castle. That should make the next session…interesting!

OMG…the word I submitted (kiwi) to the podcast β€œWe Love D and D” was used for their segment β€œ2 DMs 1 player” in their newest episode. It was hilarious. Now I have to include a kiwi mask in my own #dnd campaign.

If you haven’t given the podcast a try, check it out.

Not at the feast. I forget what the reason for the enchanted cranberry sauce was. But they had just come in from a battle with a flock of turkeys led by a turducken (yes also not original, but fun)!

13.02.2026 01:20 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 0 πŸ“Œ 0

Probably not alone on this one but I had a cranberry ooze in my Thanksgiving session last year! It was a ton of fun, and ended up far more challenging for the players than intended.
