Did LLMs solve the problem of naming things? I think it did!

Exactly! What wouldn’t you do for some extra brain power sometimes! Have you seen the research on working memory? You can improve working memory with physical exercise and make it worse by not letting the brain rest every now and then. I don’t know, however, if the effect is noticeable.
Isn’t that normal for sports events these days? Swedish OS gold medal winner Nils van der Poel had to get home before he could speak out about China to not risk being detained. On a serious note I hope it will won’t get that bad. It gives hope seeing all the people on the streets 💪💪🏻💪🏼💪🏽💪🏾💪🏿
No need to worry! People are used to going to corrupt countries for large sports events.
Massive die-in in front of the New York Stock Exchange to protest the illegal cuts by DOGE and the Trump administration.
You make me feel seen! ✊
Scary thought how much of modern life is owned and controlled by the US. ChatGPT gives a few alternatives to DNS. I have know idea about how realistic they are:
- OpenNIC
- Namecoin
- Handshake (HNS)
- Yggdrasil Network
Then there are networks like:
- Tor
- I2P
- Freenet
- Mesh Networks
Yes, please!!!
Yes, but I prefer the other way around. Work hard in the winter and vacation all summer. We have 6 hours where the sun goes just above the horizon and it’s just cold and miserable outside in Stockholm anyways. Perfect for work!
I’ll be recruiting for different languages, including languages like: C, C#, C++, Clojure, Elixir, Erlang, F#, Go, Haskell, Java, JS. Actually I won’t but I’d love to know the difference. Please, share your experience.
Loading schema information from an ERP system. 5.394 tables and 135.804 columns!
What is it? Boox? ReMarkable?
Your code is, indeed, incredibly readable! Looks like ”have a clear thought” and ”be a good writer” are two other weird tricks you master!
🙏
Thanks! I like that one 😀
Are there Haskell or Compiler starter packs?
If you change your mind you could do it in every Haskell conversation too
Yes, and even more now after the election result
I’ve use it to get an intuitive summary of math papers that’s been a wall of hieroglyphs for me before. That’s big for me!
For me it was the data type declarations without all clutter. I could make notes of my ideas without any annoying ceremony.
data Point = Pt Float Float
But then I’m more into data then functions if I have to chose.
I find ChatGPT being an wonderful help in learning Haskell. I use it to get learning material at my own level and get examples in my domain. Otherwise I find a lot of Haskell learning recourses too math heavy and, frankly, not very pedagogical. GPT fix that.
I'll be looking for work soon! Starting early next year, remote from SE. Autonomous testing, distsyst, web, data eng, PL, and probably more areas are of interest.
(Reposts are highly appreciated. 🙌)
Today for a short while HLS couldn’t start because my code didn’t typecheck and my internet connection was down so I didn’t get ai help. I couldn’t code. Like a turtle on its back.
🎶You don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone 🎶
I came from FP starter kit
Thanks! Good to see you!
Haskell with HLS, Cursor and GPT is a dream. Haskell’s conciseness suits LLMs. The type system catches the GPT glitches. GPT use GHC err msg to correct. I communicate with GPT using powerful concepts like recursion schemes, lenses, functors etc. GPT translate CT gibberish to English at my.
Do it! Haskell language server, Cursor editor, ChatGPT makes Haskell a completely new thing!
