I was freelancing when we had my daughter. I told people I wouldn’t be available for 6 months. Luckily I was financially able to do that. My daughter was born by emergency Caesarian, her mum took a month or 2 to recover. The 2 weeks for a dad isn’t long enough.
It’s feels like the Parliamentary Labour Party are trying to lose the next general election on purpose.

I’m agree with Diane Abbott on this. If people want to vote for Reform they will. There are no populist depths Labour can sink to that will attract a Reform voter because the idea of them being ‘left wing’ is set in their minds. So they might as well do good stuff & stop alienating the rest of us.
