They all could, but they knew it would be immoral and terrible for America.
There was a plan: attack Iran so that it closes the straight and forces China and India to buy more oil from Russia providing then with the funds to press the war in Ukraine to wipe another democracy of the map.
How can you not see this? We've known for years that Putin has blackmail on Trump.
Chris Murphy: "I Just came from a two hour, closed door classified briefing on the war. It just confirmed to me it's totally incoherent. We are not gonna be able to achieve any of our stated objectives ... this is a disaster of epic proportions, a 10 day debacle"
No, most of them know what they are doing. They are just evil, by which I mean putting their own personal interests ahead of the people they are employed to represent, and in many cases celebrating the deaths of innocents that they have caused.
Nothing good can come of it...
I only clicked on the replies because I knew I knew him, but...
It does all make a lot more sense now. π
Although it's not at all dusty or crumbly, it does leave a black mark when drawn across stone, and is very light, so pretty sure it's Anthracite Coal. The fanciest coal you can get (top 1%), and almost pure carbon, but still available by the sack for fuel.
Rock of the day. Petrified wood?
Found in clay in my garden in Sussex, UK. Fairly light, rigid, no charcoal markings or crumbling. Bounces slightly if dropped. Similar density to resin.
At about 6 years old I realised it was all made up by bad men to control the masses for personal profit and indulgence.
What about you?
I understand why Putin wants to destroy America, and I can guess why Trump is helping him do it. But I'll never figure out why Congress is letting him get away with it.
My favourite reptile from my very own garden.
More closely maybe, but birds are warm blooded which underpins everything that makes them birds.
We may not know whether dinosaurs were but we do know reptiles and crocodiles are cold blooded, which dictates their very different MO.
That branch of evolution is very amazing though.
Surely only in the sense that we're both a type of flat worm?
A cartoon of Pete Kefsbreath shouts at American flag-draped coffins: βSTOP TRYING TO EMBARASS THE PRESIDENT!β
In the eyes of Trump and his minions, this is all a video game and they're the only players that matter. You and I and all the rest of us are just NPCs who can be sacrificed with no consequence.
Poor doggie.
The ZX81 was my first computer, and it certainly had a massive impact on the 6 year old me.
I am sure I don't need to tell you all, but if you want to see why the ZX81 was so important, you can build a ZX81 compatible kit from basic logic chips.

To be fair Christianity is a Jewish cult.
More concerning is the lack of separation of church and state, and the lack of recognition that all people are equal regardless of religion, which are is founding principle of the United States.
Frankly, it's un-American and unhinged.
If itβs true that the United States bombed an elementary school and killed scores of children it is an unfathomable crime. I have never been more disgusted to be an American.
Mostly it's just that they can't be bothered to check what they read, so if someone on the Internet claims something they believe it. After that, they just don't want to admit to themselves that they were that gullible. Same as hypnosis.
Hard to see how the UN can stay located in the USA after that.
More than half of Reform UK members believe non-white British citizens born abroad should be deported or encouraged to leave @survation.bsky.social
One in five also believed non-white citizens *whose parents were born in UK* should be forcibly removed/ encouraged to leave....
I guess at some point alliances, vested interest, and long standing hostility (and scheming), kind of take away any moral, ethical, or legal arguments.
Iran attacks us or neutral allies, and there's a point when we have to react to that tactically, regardless of our view on the instigators.
Ok, just seen the latest, he's now allowing UK airfields to be used for offensive operations against missile sites.
He's still arguing it's a defensive action but attacking one sides ability to wage war but not the other is active aggressive participation in any sense.
And it certainly makes us a target. And if we retaliate or defend at a distance we're then involved to the bitter end.
Last I heard he was granting permission for defensive purposes only, but I can't see how that's not helping the aggression by helping defend the aggressors and their allies/facilitators.
The UK's permission for the US to use its bases in attacking Iran amounts to complicity in the crime of aggression. It drags us into what could be an endless war, without democratic or even parliamentary consent.
Did she say whose?
