Eight years ago this happened! A historic, humbling, optimistic and joyful occasion. John Horgan was sworn in as the first BCNDP premier in 16 years. I was honoured to be appointed BC’s and Canada’s first Minister of Mental Health and Addictions.

Medicare. Dental care. Pharmacare. Child care. Climate action. It’s more important than ever to elect New Democrats to Parliament - to fight for the kind of Canada we want to build. And, very importantly, in a whole lot of ridings, it’s the NDP that has the best chance of defeating Conservatives.
