Day 2 in Minneapolis and the first general session of the Democratic National Committee meeting. Chair Ken Martin @kenmartin.bsky.social opened strong, we thanked TX Rep Gene Wu @genefortexas.bsky.social for his leadership, and I caught up with some of my favorite fellow Texans. Proud to represent.
Minneapolis is serving up 60 degrees, a State Fair press conference with AFGE and the MN AFL-CIO, and a welcome from Gov. Walz and Sen. Klobuchar. Add in a pork chop on a stick & cheese curds, and it’s a pretty great start to the Democratic National Committee meeting. Tomorrow the work begins. #DNC
