The world needs this.
The world needs this.
A word?
Or a sentence?
Or a paragraph?
The things I could say!
But at least it works well for the 300 character limit.
So thereβs that.
βContentβ made of short sentences, each presented as a paragraph, loses all credibility with me.
I guess itβs supposed to give each sentence big impact.
But it just looks stupid!
Why would anyone read that?
I donβt know.
It feels obviously manipulative.
Or aimed at low attention spans.
This is an album you either find enchanting or torturous. Thereβs no middle ground.
In the future, techbros will propose solving the homeless problem by putting them all in self-driving taxis which will travel across the country non-stop, thus ensuring no jurisdiction ever has to take responsibility for them.
Wait, I havenβt checked the news in 2 hours. Has this already happened?
Absolutely. Some great b-sides from the singles too.
As a kid I loved the book for The Cat From Outer Space, but I never got to see the movie.
I heard it best summed up as βTrump has no plan if the Iranian regime falls. He also has no plan if it holdsβ.
Iβm so old, I remember when a factory outlet store was actually next to the factory.
As FKA Twigs revealed, heβs a sociopathic monster. Canβt believe a word he says.
Yeah, there are at least two different translations out there. I liked this one best.
Sorry to hear youβve been going through that.
What really struck me about the comic is how it shows a trivial setback can send one spiralling. And trying to explain whatβs going through oneβs mind sounds crazy and even laughable, but itβs absolutely real.
This comic has stuck with me for a while, because it pulls such contrasting feelings out of me. Itβs simultaneously hilarious while also a fairly accurate depiction of a serious depressive episode.
I misread βinspired by your activityβ as βinspired by your realityβ and suddenly the future got even worse.
Love this one.
1989 was great. Target edition had 3 more songs which were every bit as good as the rest of the album. But when she re-recorded it, she added a pile of other songs supposedly from the same era, andβ¦ well, they didnβt get put on the original album for a reason. Seems she just puts out anything now.
Thing about Swift is that she has done legit great stuff, but it seems her fans regard everything she does as brilliant and sheβs learned she can get away with putting out anything. Tortured Poets was not *bad* per se, but I found it completely forgettable. I havenβt bothered with her latest.
Sounds like I need to check this place out.
I used to live and work in that area, but that was in another century.
Thatβs okay, it will take me years to get the motivation to try it and learn video editing.
I mean it literally took me 20 years to get one of my projects to the point I felt it was presentable.
Another one would involve rabbits operating a spaceship, another involving exploding CRT TV sets, another one is flying over a garden of metal flowers, stuff that wouldnβt be possible via conventional means without a lot of money and people.
More of a visualizer. With a couple of exceptions, most of my ideas donβt involve people. Example: slow panning shots of the interior of an empty theatre. The film playing consists of nothing but snow falling in a forest. Eventually itβs snowing inside the theatre too.
This supposes I can get gen-AI to do what I want at all. Initial explorations have been disappointing.
Oh and I donβt know a thing about video editing either.
As much as Iβd like to claim βcanβt slop, wonβt slopβ as a personal slogan, I admit Iβm tempted by gen-AI for making videos for my music, because thereβs no other practical way I could create what I envision for them.
Then again, maybe I can have it both ways, given itβs a post-truth world now.
Donβt worry about it. Suno is already well-known in the music production community, as they were among the first gen-AI slop machines for music.
The other thing is the message behind it is bullshit. Music production has never been more accessible. A laptop, even an iPad, plus a basic DAW gives you more studio power than anyone had 40 years ago.
Maybe the real prize was the friends we made along the way.
I do like me some Twizzlers from time to time. But Red Vines? Holy hell, thatβs like eating plastic.
Social media and the related technologies profit from the human need for connection, but in reality leave us more divided and isolated than ever.
When I was a kid, black licorice was one of the few candies I wouldnβt eat.
So itβs weird how over the last few years Iβve developed a fondness for licorice allsorts, even the plain pieces.
Just not the double-salted stuff. Tried that once and OH HELL NO. Maybe Iβll like it when Iβm 80?
As they say in the classics, βfuck yeah!β
