Bucky’s got the blues
I’d play the victim card again if I was him
Bucky’s got the blues
I’d play the victim card again if I was him
It’s probably gonna take me until the end of the season to see a player wearing #27 out there and not have my brain think “Fly”
This part is not correct. Rosén was placed on the NHL roster prior to the deadline. He is no longer eligible to play in the AHL this season including playoffs
I was going to tune in to watch this just for fun but looks like no work visa for Stan yet
I’m at peace with all of it. I just want to be entertained. I cheer for wins but do nit fret the losses in any way. Whatever happens is meant to be. Trading 64/5 might have just made the team better. It certainly made it more fun to watch IMO
Reminder that the #NHLJets 5 on 5 performance is in the best place it’s been all season long. All of it without Pionk and recently without Morrissey. Real goal share has underperformed this level so far but we’ll see where this goes with 44 back and 64/5 gone
Fleury is signed for next season. Theoretically he has a future with the org. Heinola is a UFA and probably would pick 31 teams before choosing to sign in Winnipeg.
But then this stretch could potentially be the crushing blow that kills them off
Looking at the upcoming schedule one can envision a scenario where the Jets do well and close the gap on a wild card. Upcoming games against non playoff teams VAN NYR x2 STL NSH. Run the table there. Playoff teams ANA BOS PIT COL. Split those and they’re probably right there.
If a forward got hurt tonight then an emergency recall could happen. If a D got hurt it could not because Ville can play
One injury by itself won’t necessarily be enough. Emergency recalls can only occur if the team fall’s below 12F 6D 2G. Right now they have 12F 7D and 2G healthy on the roster. They also have 2F and 2D in the infirmary who could return to good health befire the season ends
My take on it is that they will be very careful and picky about which players they do end up recalling for a looksee. They will “manage” their recalls. Doesn’t mean Bauer won’t get that chance. If they get to the end of the season and haven’t exhausted them all yet then they could make it happen
I think some people might have missed the context of what Chevy said about Bauer here. He was responding about why they can’t recall every player they would like to get into their first NHL game. To me it closer to giving a reason why it may not happen even if they did hope to reward him that way
Players get to choose their number. The team assigns the training camp numbers for the young guys. BTW nobody has ever worn #78 for the Jets in a regular season game before
Lots of speed on that line. As expected they paired Rosén with Nyquist so they can communicte in Isak’s first language. Things might get adjusted in the future.
Nothing is getting past the impenetrable barrier called the Arniel veteran hierarchy wall
PP2 looks way better on oaper with Lambert and Rosén on it. Heinola would be an upgrade on Fleury but that’s not gonna hapoen anytime soon it seems
Seems like Heinola is gonna eat a lot of 🍿 the rest of the way. He may have already played his last game for this org
Chevy - Lambert will get more opportunity than he’s had in the past
Arniel - Brad you get to play 4th line RW today
Viktor Klingsell this season also has
1G in 2 Svenska Cup games (U20)
1G in 12 SHL games
1G in 8 Allsvenskan games
4G in 4 international games
Viktor Klingsell was recalled from Östersunds yesterday and Skellefteå assigned him to their junior team. Viktor scored today. It’s his 16th U20 Nationell goal in 24GP
Owen Martin 22nd 🚨
Isaak Phillips looking good so far after playing for the Jets last night. He’s stood out in the first. So has Jacob Julien who provided a sneaky pick on the play
Garrett Brown not in the lineup for Denver tonight in their playoff game. He missed the last game as well
#NHLJets #MBMoose organizational depth chart (Mar 6)
Changes:
Pearson traded to Buffalo
Morrissey activated from IR
Rosén ↗️ Jets
Lambert ↗️ Jet
Barlow heathy
Larochelle signed to ATO
Barlow Duehr and Phillips are back in the lineup. Haven’t seen Wagner at C for quite some time
I’m sure they’ll give that a try but maybe not tomorrow. Whi knows. Chevy also hinted that Lambert would get more opportunities than he’s had in the past.
Duehr is not on the NHL roster right now. They’ll probably pair Rosén with countryman Nyquist to help him with the systems at least to start with
Those are pretty big shoes Isak is “flying” to fill. Brain will probably take a while to adjust to that.
He said it to Dave Minuk who’s been promoting that idea already. Chevy knew his audience
This org already has plug anxiety. LOL Wanna have him fight for an NHL crowd. Probably gonna take a bunch of injuries on the back end for that to happen. I can’t see them wasting a regular recall on Bauer
