Happy International Women’s Day! I’m so grateful to the immensely wise, strong, capable, compassionate women in my life. Especially my wife, daughter, mum and sisters. Let’s hope the current pushback against women’s rights around the world is merely a blip and genuine equality is achieved.
I must have watched it all the way through at least 4 times. Such a brilliant show. The writing, casting, acting all absolutely top notch. Finished it again just about a month or so ago. Watched City Primeval once and starting it again now. Not quite as good but Timothy Oliphant is always watchable.

She was brilliant, briefly, in Justified and is wonderful in Pluribus. A terrific actor.
Really enjoyed this episode of the podcast. It’s a curious episode. And it could have been awful but as you said the casting and the performances of the main cast saved it.

I had to stop reading Richard Osman’s Thursday Murder Club books before I started writing Gran Raid as superficially they’re alike (feisty pensioners up to something) but mine is about blackmail, bank robbing & revenge not pensioner detectives. Plus I think my book is better - but i would say that!😂

Not sure where you got the idea that Andrew faces life in prison. He’s not even been charged and may not be. He’ll likely wriggle out of facing the consequences of his illegal behaviour and even if he does, by some miracle, go down it’ll be for financial not sexual crimes. 😡

I threw out a load of crap evangelical christian ones 10 years ago when i saw the light and Neil Gaiman’s a year or so ago (I will miss re-reading Good Omens but I believe the victims). I also love my two novels. 😉

To all the people crowing about Andrew being arrested being ‘justice’ you do know in the UK you are innocent until proven guilty? There’s a million miles between arrest & conviction. This is NOT justice, yet. I very much doubt he will ever face justice, not for the crimes that matter
