New generations of CRISPR variants, including Cas12 and Cas13, enable robust and multiplexed control of gene expression. In this seminar, James Bryson will present novel CRISPR-based tools and a computational approach for crRNA design, as well as explore how small nucleolar RNAs and epitranscriptomic interactions influence translational regulation and cell fate.

Unless you seek it out, most professors don't learn how to teach. It's not part of the job requirements. The idea is that you're an expert in your field and that's Enough.

For example, science funders now often require open access publication and data sharing. Which open science practices do you think should become mandatory, and under which circumstances?
