I was on another thread awhile ago and objected to the characterization of former military as all police or corrections officers after they get out. I was slammed. This thread validates my point of view.

Slogans aren't policy. They're simplistic demands. Basing your vote entirely on a soundbite is part of the problem and why we're in this situation today.
