It would be cool to have a legislature that acted to defend its own constitutional prerogatives and, maybe as a treat, the interests of the people it represents too.

A little while after I spoke, I was accused of defamation with an official "Protest of the House" that was permanently recorded in the House Journal. The same Representative that accused me of defamation said that if there were checks passed out on the house floor, it "would essentially be bribery"

I spoke to the Wyoming House about the bill that targeted my community as well as the checks that were being handed out on the floor of the House.

Which types of welfare fraud are politely litigated between white collar lawyers, and which types of welfare fraud are used to justify an immigration purge and shutting off resources to the poor?

All five justices recognized that deciding whether to continue or terminate a pregnancy is a health care decision, and the majority correctly struck these laws down.

The Wyoming Democratic Caucus will keep standing up for the Constitution and the rights of every Wyomingite and our communities.

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?
2? Questions
I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

If anyone needs me I will be in the museum, lying down next to the bog bodies.

Arkansas AG Threatens to Sue Sites for Providing Info About Abortion Pills One of the sites, Plan C, is a well-known resource for information about medication abortion.

Seems like the Arkansas AG just doesn't believe in the first amendment to the US Constitution. Maybe he should have a different job if he feels his oath to the Constitution is too much to uphold.

Inside Utah’s PR campaign to seize public lands - High Country News Utah used actors, AI, stagecraft and NDAs as it sought to sway public opinion and take control of 18.5 million acres of federal public land.

Lawmakers in Utah are deploying every deception tactic in the book to convince Americans that turning federal lands over to states is in the nation's best interest. What they aren't saying is that they don't have the money to manage these lands, so they often get sold to for-profit companies.

Here’s what RFK Jr. has done since a measles outbreak began which has killed 3 people so far:

1. Buried a CDC report showing need for vaccination

2. Recommended vitamin A, resulting in liver damage in kids

3. Defunded vaccination clinics nationally

4. Hired a fraud to manipulate vaccine data

Wyoming opted out of USDA summer food assistance program, but bill would change that - WyoFile The federal program is β€œthe most efficient, effective way to get food to those kids," bill sponsor Rep. Lloyd Larsen said.

Last year, Wyoming was one of 15 states to opt out of USDA program that provides income qualified families with a debit card to supplement family food needs during summer months when school isn't in session.

A bill that would direct the state to participate in it advanced out of committee Thursday.
